Starting as a magician back in the day, John quickly picked up balloons as a passion, making it a staple of his career. One of the hallmarks of John's illustrious balloon career is holding the world record for World's Largest Balloon Sculpture Made By a Single Person: Poptimus Prime, which you can view being built HERE. Throughout his time as a balloon artist John has taught his craft to artists across 6 countries in 90 different cities!

John Reid has been creating larger than life sculptures for over 15 years. In 2014 John broke the world record for largest balloon sculpture that stood 50’8” tall with a wingspan of 44’4”! With several designs of superheroes, princesses, cartoon characters, and over 100 more, there is something for everyone! John has been twisting balloons for over 20 years now, and is an internationally recognized balloon artist. His balloons have been seen on college campuses, The Martha Stuart Show, and at the White House, where he appeared as President Obama’s choice of balloon twister for the 4th of July 6 years in a row!

Master balloon artist John Reid has taught the pros and he can teach your students too!
Students learn everything from the parts of the balloon to the techniques and moves that are the foundation for most balloon sculptures. John will teach 10 basic balloon sculptures, and by the end of his workshop everyone will have created 6 balloon sculptures of their own, including a hat to wear home! John provides all of the materials used in class. Balloons and hand pumps are available for purchase after the class.
